Description
Rowan House is a beautiful West Indian style home with gingerbread trim located high on majestic Mt. Nevis on the Zetlands Plantation Estate in the midst of gorgeous and lush mature gardens.
The interiors feature terra cotta tiled floors and rich carpets and traditionally styled upholstered furnishings.
Designed for privacy, the villa consists of three structures built around a delightful dining verandah. The main house offers the living room, dining area and well-equipped modern kitchen. On the lower level, a bedroom has a queen-sized bed, sitting area, en-suite bath and French doors that open to the stunning garden.
Located in another building and across the verandah from the main house is the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed with en-suite bath and a separate study with bunk beds, suitable for young children.
The guest bedroom building is housed above the garage and laundry room and provides especially good views of the Caribbean. This bedroom has a (queen sized bed), en-suite bathroom and sitting area. Steps lead down from this pavilion to a dining verandah with breathtaking views.
Outside is a small but very private pool deck and plunge pool with marvelous views. Rowan House is a very appealing home that enjoys constant cool breezes and incredible views.
