Farlands Villa is a wonderful home set in beautifully landscaped grounds on the Montpelier Estate with sweeping views of the ocean, nearby islands of St. Kitts and Saba and Mt. Nevis. Indeed, sunsets are truly memorably from the Farlands villa.
A colorful home, the West Indian styled main house and guest hours are white with blue shutters and gingerbread trim and set in a lush garden with a wide variety of tropical fruits and lush plantings. Built on two levels, the interiors are furnished in a casual mix of tropical hardwoods and Caribbean style pieces with original artwork. Living and dining areas are comfortable and open to furnished terraces.
The main house consists of the living and dining areas that are comfortably and tastefully furnished and open to a furnished terra cotta tiled terrace. Also, in the main house, are the well-equipped kitchen and the romantic master bedroom. The master suite features a mahogany king sized four-poster bed complete with mosquito netting. Shuttered doors lead to the outdoor living and dining areas on the verandah that overlook the pool. On the lower level, adjacent to the pool, is a second bedroom with two wrought iron double beds and en-suite bath. The second bedroom has its own private entrance.
The separate guest cottage houses the third bedroom. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, bath and there is even a kitchenette as well as a large verandah with a sitting/dining area overlooking the garden.
In front of the main house is the 30' x 15' sparkling private swimming pool and well-furnished terrace with ocean views. Just beyond the pool and accessed by a little bridge is the large and picturesque gazebo. The gazebo is just one of the three outdoor living and dining areas of Farlands.
Very private, Farlands villa is superbly located to offer the Caribbean experience at its best. The tradewinds gently air-condition guests while they savor one of the most spectacular views of an island of breath-taking beauty.
